ROBLOX Rally 2011

The ROBLOX Rally 2011 was the first Roblox convention, held on August 1, 2011, at the Exploratorium at San Francisco. The conference was first announced by ReeseMcBlox on June 16, 2011, through a post on the Roblox Blog. The purpose of the conference was for players to meet up with each other and to discuss Roblox, ask questions to the Roblox staff, and find out about future updates to the game. One of the most notorious updates that were discussed at the ROBLOX Rally 2011 was the new Roblox terrain. This ignited controversy throughout Roblox, with players accusing the Roblox administrators of copying rival game Minecraft. Despite this, terrain is still a feature on Roblox. Tickets were sold for $10.00, and participants who were under the age of 12 had to attend with someone over the age of 16.
