Gunterverse is a community for Roblox event gunters, clue solvers, badge collectors and limited item chasers. A gunter is an egg hunter. It means someone who goes looking for hidden clues, works out event puzzles and collects the limited eggs, badges and items that come out of them.

Yes. There is a read only API that covers events, badgers, puzzles, badges, items, UGC, games, clans, lists and reviews. You get it with Supporter. There is also a paid developer tier that gives you much higher limits and lets you see ownership data, which means who holds which badges, items and completions.

It really is read only. There is no way to post, rate, follow or change anything with it. Head to API Access to get a token, or read the documentation to see every endpoint.

All of it. Badgers and puzzles have the same endpoints that events do, so you get details, badges, reviews and completions for each of them. Puzzles also have their own /puzzles path, which means you never have to ask for something called a badger just to read puzzle data. Badge ownership works the same way for badger and puzzle badges as it does for event ones.

The old earner data on some badge pages was given to us by a community member to use on the site. We were not given the right to pass it on, so it is not in the API on any tier. The earner and ownership endpoints only ever return Gunterverse members.

You sign in with your Roblox account through Roblox's own login. Click Sign in with Roblox and approve it on their side. We never see your password and we never store one. Roblox handles the whole login and only tells us your basic profile details.

Yes, it is completely free. There is an optional Supporter upgrade that unlocks some cosmetic perks and turns off ads, but everything that actually matters is free.

We ask for read only access to your basic profile and your inventory so we can check which event items and badges you actually own and show them on your profile. We cannot change anything on your Roblox account and we cannot post as you. We never get your password either. You can take the access away at any time from your Roblox account settings.

No, it is out of beta and open to everyone now. You do not need an access code any more. We are still adding things all the time, so expect new features and small improvements to keep turning up.

Open any event page and press the Review button. Pick a star rating from half a star up to five, and write something if you want to. A rating on its own is fine. You do need to own at least one badge or item from the event before you can rate it, so sync your Roblox inventory first.

Yes. Open your review or the event and press Review again to change it, or use the delete option on the review itself. You only ever have one review per event, so saving again updates the one you already wrote instead of adding another.

You have to have actually taken part. That means owning at least one badge or item from the event, badger or puzzle. Sign in with Roblox and sync your inventory so we can check, and then the Review button will work. It keeps ratings honest and stops people spamming them.

Admins can lock ratings and reviews on an event for a while. It usually happens when an event has not started yet or is still being checked. While it is locked the review button is greyed out and the reviews section says it is not available yet, so come back later.

Reviews can be up to 2,000 characters. Bios, comments and most other boxes stop at 255. There is a counter that shows how much room you have left while you type.

Yes, you can like reviews and comment on them. Keep it friendly. Comments follow the same rules as everything else on the site and anyone can report one.

Go to Lists and make a new one. Give it a title and a description, then add some events. You can drag them into whatever order you like, and other members can leave comments on it.

A list needs at least one event so there is something to show, including the picture at the top. That is why empty lists are not allowed.

It uses the cover art of whichever event sits at the top of your list. If you want a different picture, move a different event to the top.

Open Settings and go to Favorites. Pick the events you like best and the items you own, which come from your Roblox inventory, then drag them into the order you want. Everyone gets four slots of each and supporters get eight.

Your items and badges come from your Roblox inventory. We can only read it if it is set to public and you allowed inventory access when you signed in. If it looks out of date, wait a little while or sign in again to refresh it.

Open Settings, go to Profile and press Refresh avatar. That pulls your newest Roblox picture across.

Your username comes from Roblox, so you cannot change it here. Change it on Roblox and it will follow across on its own. Your bio you can edit whenever you like in Settings, and supporters can make text bold, italic or underlined in theirs.

If an event has a completion badge, we track how fast people earned it and put them in order on a leaderboard. Finish near the top and you can unlock podium achievements for it.

You unlock achievements for doing things around the site, like writing reviews, suggesting events or placing on a speedrun podium. They pop up the moment you earn one, and every achievement you have shows on your profile.

Anyone can suggest a new event or send in a fix for one that is already here. A moderator checks it before it goes live, and helping out can earn you achievements.

Badges are the small icons next to a member's name on their profile, their reviews and their comments. Here is every one of them and how you get it.

• Developer / Owner. The person who builds and runs Gunterverse. Only one member has this one and there is no way to earn it.
• Administrator. Trusted staff who look after content, events and members. The owners pick them.
• Moderator. They read the reports and keep things civil. The team picks them.
• Archivist. Trusted editors who keep the details right on events, badgers, puzzles, badges and items. The team picks them.
• Iconic Gunter. Gunters the community already knows, who have been around a long time and given a lot back. The team hands this one out themselves and nothing awards it automatically.
• Supporter. Members who bought Supporter or were gifted it. It unlocks the cosmetic perks and turns off ads.
• Contributor. Members who have had an event suggestion or an edit accepted. Every one of them helps build the database up.
• Beta Tester. Early members who tested the site and helped shape it during the closed beta. The team gave it to the people who actually turned up and tested.
• Bug Hunter. Members who found a real bug that then got fixed. Send anything you find through Report an Issue and the team hands it out.
• Gifting. Members who have bought Supporter for somebody else. You get it the first time you gift Supporter.

If you are ever not sure which badge is which, hover over one on a profile and it will tell you its name.

You get told about new followers, likes and comments on your reviews and lists, and what happened to any event you suggested. Open Settings and go to Notifications to turn each kind on or off. Achievement pop ups always show.

If you turn them on in Settings, your browser shows a pop up when something happens while the Gunterverse tab is hidden. It asks your permission first and it only works on the device you turned it on for. You still get the little messages on the page and the bell as well.

Live notifications keep a connection open in the background and it reconnects now and then. If your internet drops for a bit you might see a short notice about it. It sorts itself out and there is nothing you need to do.

Supporters get a Supporter badge on their profile and reviews, no ads anywhere, their own accent colour for the whole site, a two colour gradient that rings their avatar and runs through their name, the custom Gunterverse emoji, formatting in their bio and a banner they upload themselves. There is more than that, so have a look at the Supporter page for everything.

Go to the Become a Supporter page and follow the checkout. Everything unlocks the moment the payment goes through. Card payments go through Stripe and Robux payments go through the Gunterverse checkout experience on Roblox.

Worth knowing before you buy: anything you pay for with Robux is final and we cannot refund it. That covers Supporter, Supporter gifts, event sponsorships and badger sponsorships.

No. Anything bought with Robux is final and cannot be refunded. That means Supporter, gifts, event sponsorships and badger sponsorships.

Open Settings and go to Appearance. Supporters can pick an accent colour for the site and the two colours that ring their avatar and flow through their name. You see both change as you pick, before you save anything. The picker stops short of black and white so your name stays readable whichever theme somebody is using.

Press the envelope next to the bell at the top of the page, or the envelope on somebody's profile. Start typing a name in the To box and pick them out of the list. Messages are private, so only you and the person you wrote to can read one.

Yes. Type **bold**, *italic*, __underline__ or ~~strikethrough~~ and it comes out looking right. Emoji work too, including the :name shortcuts, and your line breaks stay exactly where you put them.

Go to Settings and open Privacy. You can pick friends only, people who follow you, people you follow, everyone, or nobody at all. New accounts start on friends only, which means people you follow who follow you back. If it is one person you want to stop rather than a whole group, block them instead. A block works both ways and it also hides their content from you everywhere on the site.

Gunterverse staff and the official Gunterverse account can still reach you. We did that on purpose. If you report something and we reply, or we need to warn you about your account, that has to be able to get to you. No normal member can write to you while it is turned off.

Report it and do not reply to it. Gunterverse staff will never ask you for your password, a login code or anything else private, and we will never ask you to sign in anywhere except gunterverse.com. Any message that does is a scam, no matter how official it looks or whose name is on it.

Open it and press Report. That shows our moderators that one message so they can deal with it, and nothing else in your inbox goes with it. They can take the message down and suspend the account that sent it.

Any link that is not going to gunterverse.com or roblox.com warns you first and tells you where it is about to send you. We have no idea what is on the other end of those links. Never type your Roblox password or a login code into a site you got to from a message.

It means the message really is from the Gunterverse team or the official Gunterverse account, which also has a tick next to its name. Nobody else can put that label on a message and no normal member can send from that account. If a message says it is from staff and has no label, it is not.

No. Deleting only takes it out of your own view, in the same way that deleting an email does not empty the other person's sent folder. Deleting your whole account is different and does remove your messages from both sides.

Only you and the person on the other end, and a moderator if somebody reports a message. They are not public, they are not in the API, search engines never see them and we do not share them with anyone. Notifications never include what a message says either, so nothing shows up on your lock screen. The Privacy Policy has the full detail if you want it.

Whoever sent it chose whether it can be answered. An announcement going out to everybody usually cannot, because there is nobody at the other end waiting for thousands of replies, while an answer to a report you sent usually can. Anything from the Gunterverse account itself can never be replied to, since that account is the site rather than a person. If you need to reach the team, use Report an Issue at the bottom of any page.

Without Supporter you can hold ten messages at a time. Once you are at ten, anybody trying to write to you is told your inbox is full and their message does not arrive. Delete a few from your inbox and people can write to you again. Supporters have no limit at all.

Messages from the Gunterverse team always get through. If your inbox is full when one arrives, your oldest message is cleared to make room, because a warning about your account is not something that should bounce.

Paste it and it becomes a link on its own. If you would rather it read as words, write [the words](https://the-link.com) and it turns into the words, clickable. Only http and https links work, and anything not going to gunterverse.com or roblox.com still warns the person before it opens.

It holds announcements the Gunterverse team sends to everybody. They sit in their own tab so a notice that went out to the whole site does not bury a message somebody wrote to you.

Other people on Gunterverse buy them. Every banner points at an event, badger or puzzle that lives here, and a moderator checks each one before it goes up. We do not sell space to outside advertisers and nothing here follows you around other websites. There is more about why you see them if you want it.

Supporters do not see banners anywhere on the site. It is one payment and you keep it forever. There is no separate thing to buy just to remove ads.

Go to Advertise your game, pick the page you want the banner to link to, upload your artwork and choose how long it should run. It costs the same as a sponsorship of the same length and you pay in Robux.

It has to be exactly 160 by 600 pixels, saved as a PNG, JPG or WebP under 3MB. Still images only, so no animation. If it is the wrong size we turn it away as soon as you upload it, before you are asked to pay anything, so a banner that will not run can never cost you Robux.

It can point at any public event, badger or puzzle page on Gunterverse. It does not have to be one you made, so you can advertise a hunt you like or one you are running with a friend. What a banner cannot do is link anywhere off the site.

It follows the same content rules as everything else here. On top of that, a banner must not pretend to be part of the site itself or copy the look of a system message, an error or a button. It must not lie about where it goes, and it must not show adult, violent or hateful content. It also cannot carry a link, a QR code or a handle pointing anywhere off the site. If you advertise somebody else's page, your banner must not claim to be from them or make it look like they backed it. A moderator can turn a banner down before it runs or pull it once it has started.

No. We do not refund banners, and that includes ones that never get approved and ones pulled halfway through. The time you buy also starts when you pay rather than when it gets approved, so a banner waiting to be checked is using up its own run. We say all of this on the purchase page and in the refund policy before you buy.

The two slots are filled at random from every banner running at the time, but longer bookings come up more. A seven day banner gets picked seven times as often as a one day one. That is why one long booking is worth more than the same money split across several short ones.

Yes. Advertise your game shows every banner you have bought along with its views, its clicks and how often people click it, and the numbers update while it runs. It also shows banners other people bought that point at a page you run, so you can see what is heading your way.

There is a report button in the corner of every banner and another one underneath it. Reports go straight to the moderators and they can pull a banner whenever they need to.

It is one of three things. Either you are a Supporter, or your window is too narrow, or nobody has a banner running right now. The rails need a fairly wide screen because they sit beside the page rather than on top of it.

Open Settings and go to Appearance. You can pick Dark, Light or AMOLED. Supporters can also choose full-site color themes, including Classic.

Press the flag icon on the thing itself, pick a reason and add anything else we should know. It goes to our moderators. Please do not report things just to be annoying, because we do take action on accounts that do.

Use Report an Issue at the bottom of the page and tell us what happened. Say which page you were on and what you expected to see, because that helps us find it much faster.

We only use the Roblox data you gave us permission for, and we use it to build your profile and run the features. If you want the full picture, read our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Yes, in places, and we would rather say so than hide it. It helps with the repetitive setup work, the boring database jobs and finding bugs. It is a tool here in the same way a code editor or a spell checker is a tool. Nobody typed this site into a prompt and shipped whatever came out.

Every feature is designed, checked and tested by one person, and that person answers for it. Moderation decisions, badge and item data, event write ups and anything to do with the community are all done by people. We do not sell your information and we do not hand it over to train anything.

The writing, the art and the community all come from the gunters. If something looks machine made or just plain wrong, report it and a real person on the team will go and look.

Emoji are drawn as pictures so they look the same on every device, rather than letting each phone and computer draw its own version. The artwork is Twemoji and it is used under the CC-BY 4.0 licence.
