Frequently Asked Questions

Gunterverse tracks Roblox events, puzzle games, badges and event items. You can record your progress, read player reviews and find rewards from past events. A gunter is an egg hunter who searches for clues and solves puzzles to earn event rewards.

Yes. There is an API that covers events, badgers, puzzles, badges, items, UGC, games, Gunter Groups, lists and reviews. You get it with Supporter. There is also a paid developer tier that gives you much higher limits and lets you see ownership data, which means who holds which badges, items and completions.

The browsing endpoints cannot post, rate, follow or change your account. Go to API Access to get a token, or read the documentation to see every endpoint.

Yes. You can read details, badges, reviews and completions for events, badgers and puzzles. Puzzle games have a separate /puzzles path. Badge ownership endpoints work for all three types.

A community member supplied some historical badge records for use on the website only. We cannot redistribute those records through the API. API ownership endpoints return Gunterverse members.

Choose Sign in with Roblox and approve the requested access on Roblox. Roblox handles sign-in; Gunterverse never receives or stores your Roblox password.

You can browse events, badges and event items, track your progress and read reviews for free. The optional Supporter membership unlocks the full tools in the Roblox extension, badge and item insights, unlimited smart alerts, profile customisation and other perks. The main site remains free.

We ask for read only access to your basic profile and your inventory so we can check which event items and badges you actually own and show them on your profile. We cannot change anything on your Roblox account and we cannot post as you. We never get your password either. You can take the access away at any time from your Roblox account settings.

No. Gunterverse is open to everyone and does not require an access code. We continue to add features and fix bugs.

Clan Battles are temporary team competitions built around an official Roblox event, badger or puzzle. Before the event begins, you can create a clan or join somebody else's clan. When the battle starts, every participating badge earned by a clan member adds to that clan's score.

The leaderboard shows each clan’s total score, badge-type totals when enabled and each member’s contribution. Ties use the Roblox award time of the badge that reached the tied score.

We ran Clan Battles in our Roblox events community server before the Gunterverse takeover and before this version of the site existed. The original Discord version used clan commands, Bloxlink verification, invite codes and a manual points command that could be used every three minutes. Clans reset for each event and the top three earned the Glorious Battler role.

Roblox later started doing event team competition too, so our completely unbiased historical verdict is that Roblox copied us 100%. That is a joke. Mostly.

The website replaces manual Discord commands with automatic badge checks. Each battle has a countdown, recruitment discussions, invite tools and a leaderboard with badge-type totals.

Scoring uses participating Roblox badges and their award times. The time Gunterverse syncs a badge does not decide a tie, and players no longer need to run a points command.

Open Clan Battles while recruitment is available. You can create a clan with a name, three-letter tag, description and optional icon. The battle administrator chooses the member limit for that battle.

You can join with a secure invite code, a permanent QR or link, a reusable 48-hour link or a private one-time message invite. Reusable invites stop accepting people when the clan is full or joining is locked.

Draft lets the battle exist before its event details or badges are known. Open is the main recruitment stage. Locked starts the live competition and freezes creating, joining, leaving, kicking and clan deletion. Completed freezes the final standings and turns the page into the podium plus the top 20.

The battle is linked to an event, badger or puzzle. Every enabled participating badge that is not a developer badge is pulled into the battle automatically. The administrator can group badges into named types with their own images. All participating badges still contribute to the one combined leaderboard.

During a live battle, Gunterverse checks participating clan members in the background. Clan members can also use Recount badges for an immediate check of that battle's badges.

Yes. Click a clan on the leaderboard to open its members, then click a member. Their participating badges appear newest first with the Roblox award time. Click their profile header in that window to visit their full Gunterverse profile.

You can leave before the administrator locks leaving, as long as you are not the clan owner. Owners can kick members or delete their clan while those actions remain open. Once the battle is locked, membership is frozen until the administrator changes the state.

Looking for clan posts help players find a team and do not require an existing clan. Looking to hire posts advertise an existing clan and must be linked to it. Discussions can be public or limited to clan members where available.

No. Gunter Groups are the permanent community groups that used to be called clans. Clan Battle clans are temporary competition teams created for one specific battle. They have no Roblox group connection.

The final page keeps the winning three clans on the podium and lists the top 20 below them. If your clan finished outside the top 20, the page still tells you its position. Administrators can lock or wipe recruitment discussions, keep the standings available for a while or delete the entire battle when it is no longer needed.

Open any event page and press the Review button. Pick a star rating from half a star up to five, and write something if you want to. A rating on its own is fine. You do need to own at least one badge or item from the event before you can rate it, so sync your Roblox inventory first.

Yes. Open your review or the event and press Review again to change it, or use the delete option on the review itself. Each account has one review per event. Saving again updates your existing review.

You need to own at least one badge or item from that event, badger or puzzle. Sign in with Roblox and sync your inventory so Gunterverse can check your participation.

Admins can lock ratings and reviews on an event for a while. It usually happens when an event has not started yet or is still being checked. While it is locked the review button is greyed out and the reviews section says it is not available yet, so come back later.

Reviews can be up to 2,000 characters. Bios, comments and most other boxes stop at 255. There is a counter that shows how much room you have left while you type.

Yes, you can like reviews and comment on them. Keep it friendly. Comments follow the same rules as everything else on the site and anyone can report one.

Go to Lists and make a new one. Give it a title and a description, then add some events. You can drag them into whatever order you like, and other members can leave comments on it.

A list needs at least one entry. The first entry supplies its banner image.

Open Settings and go to Favorites. Pick the events you like best and the items you own, which come from your Roblox inventory, then drag them into the order you want. Everyone gets four slots of each and supporters get eight.

Allow inventory access when you sign in, then choose Refresh inventory on your profile. If Roblox asks you to reconnect, sign in again with the same Roblox account and approve inventory access. Private inventories require this permission.

Open Settings, go to Profile and press Refresh avatar. That pulls your newest Roblox picture across.

Your username comes from Roblox, so you cannot change it here. Change it on Roblox and it will follow across on its own. Your bio you can edit whenever you like in Settings, and supporters can make text bold, italic or underlined in theirs.

For events with a completion badge, the leaderboard orders synced members by the Roblox date they earned it. A high placing can qualify for podium achievements. This records who finished first, rather than how long each player spent playing.

You unlock achievements for doing things around the site, like writing reviews, suggesting events or placing on a speedrun podium. Earned achievements appear on your profile, and a notification tells you when one unlocks.

Anyone can suggest a new event or send in a fix for one that is already here. A moderator checks it before it goes live, and helping out can earn you achievements.

Badges are the small icons next to a member's name on their profile, their reviews and their comments. Each icon shows an account role or an award.

• Developer / Owner. The person who builds and runs Gunterverse. Only one member has this one and there is no way to earn it.
• Administrator. Trusted staff who look after content, events and members. The owners pick them.
• Moderator. They read the reports and keep things civil. The team picks them.
• Archivist. Trusted editors who keep the details right on events, badgers, puzzles, badges and items. The team picks them.
• Iconic Gunter. Gunters the community already knows, who have been around a long time and given a lot back. The team hands this one out themselves and nothing awards it automatically.
• Supporter. Members who bought Supporter or were gifted it. Membership includes the full Roblox extension tools, badge and item tracking tools, customisation and ad-free browsing.
• Contributor. Members who have had an event suggestion or edit accepted.
• Beta Tester. Members awarded the role for testing during the closed beta.
• Bug Hunter. Members who found a real bug that then got fixed. Send anything you find through Report an issue and the team hands it out.
• Gifting. Members who have bought Supporter for somebody else. You get it the first time you gift Supporter.

If you are ever not sure which badge is which, hover over one on a profile and it will tell you its name.

You get told about new followers, likes and comments on your reviews and lists, and what happened to any event you suggested. Open Settings and go to Notifications to turn each kind on or off. Achievement pop ups always show.

If you turn them on in Settings, your browser shows a pop up when something happens while the Gunterverse tab is hidden. It asks your permission first and it only works on the device you turned it on for. You still get the little messages on the page and the bell as well.

Live notifications reconnect automatically after a connection drops. A short connection notice usually clears on its own.

The Gunterverse for Roblox extension has free previews. Supporters unlock full recorded owner lists, available dates and positions, complete rewards and profile records, friend comparisons, ownership filters, all worn lookalike matches and recounts. They also get My Insights with rarity summaries, timelines, percentiles, recaps, comparisons, records and a trophy cabinet, plus unlimited smart alerts through the web, push or a private Discord webhook. Other perks include no ads, profile customisation, unlimited lists, custom emoji and the exclusive gold role in our Roblox Events community server. See the Supporter page for everything.

Join the Roblox Events community server, link Discord under Settings > Connections and run /get_roles with GurtBot. Your Supporter status is checked directly through Gunterverse and the gold Supporters role is added automatically.

Go to the Become a Supporter page and choose monthly, quarterly or permanent access. Every plan shows both its card and Robux price before you choose how to pay, and your perks unlock when payment is confirmed.

Supporter costs $4.99 or 1,799 Robux monthly, $9.99 or 3,599 Robux quarterly, or $24.99 or 9,000 Robux permanently. Developer, which includes Supporter, costs $6.99 or 2,499 Robux monthly, $14.99 or 5,399 Robux quarterly, or $34.99 or 12,600 Robux permanently.

Monthly and quarterly card plans renew automatically until cancelled. Monthly Robux plans are Roblox subscriptions and renew through Roblox. A quarterly Robux purchase lasts three months and does not renew; buy it again whenever you want another event season.

Robux purchases: anything you pay for with Robux is final and we cannot refund it. That covers Supporter, Supporter gifts, event sponsorships and badger sponsorships.

For a card plan, open Become a Supporter while signed in and choose Manage or cancel card subscription. Stripe handles the cancellation securely. You keep your perks until the end of the period you already paid for.

Monthly Robux subscriptions are managed and cancelled through Roblox. Quarterly Robux plans and permanent purchases do not auto-renew, so there is nothing to cancel.

Yes. Choose Gift Supporter on the Supporter page, then choose monthly, quarterly or permanent before selecting the recipient. Every gift shows both its card and Robux price.

The purchaser controls recurring billing. Card gifts are managed through the purchaser's Stripe portal, monthly Robux gifts through the purchaser's Roblox subscription settings, and quarterly Robux gifts do not renew.

No. Anything bought with Robux is final and cannot be refunded. That means Supporter, gifts, event sponsorships and badger sponsorships.

Open Settings and go to Appearance. Supporters can pick an accent colour for the site and the two colours that ring their avatar and flow through their name. You see both change as you pick, before you save anything. The picker stops short of black and white so your name stays readable whichever theme somebody is using.

It adds Gunterverse badge, item and game progress records to supported Roblox profiles, game hubs, item pages and badge pages. You can check event progress, find recorded owners, compare rewards with a friend and search for recorded event games. See the extension page for screenshots and the feature list.

No separate extension purchase is needed. Free previews and badge and item search work without pairing. Full lists, comparisons and recounts are included with an active Supporter membership. You can also permanently unlock the full extension with one perk credit. If membership expires, you keep free previews and settings, plus full access if you own the permanent extension perk. Install Gunterverse for Roblox from its official Chrome Web Store listing and try the free previews. To unlock Supporter tools, sign in to the same Roblox account on Roblox and Gunterverse, then generate a connection code under Gunterverse settings. Enter that code in the extension's connection window on Roblox. The setup guide explains each step.

A code works once and expires after ten minutes. Generate a new one, check that you have an active Supporter membership or the permanent extension perk and make sure the signed-in Roblox account matches your Gunterverse account. If you have reached the linked-browser limit, revoke an old browser in Gunterverse settings before connecting another.

The extension shows available Gunterverse records and Roblox ownership results. It does not cover every game or every Roblox owner. Private inventories, missing records or unavailable dates can limit what it shows. Recount Badges and Items checks your existing Roblox badges and items in supported games. It does not award new badges or items.

Open Gunterverse Settings from the extension icon and disconnect the browser, or revoke it in Gunterverse settings. Removing the extension does not cancel a recurring Supporter subscription. For help, email hi@vams.dev. Read the extension privacy section for storage and deletion details.

Press the envelope next to the bell at the top of the page, or the envelope on somebody's profile. Start typing a name in the To box and pick them out of the list. Messages are private, so only you and the person you wrote to can read one.

Yes. Type **bold**, *italic*, __underline__ or ~~strikethrough~~ and it comes out looking right. Emoji work too, including the :name shortcuts, and your line breaks stay exactly where you put them.

Go to Settings and open Privacy. You can pick friends only, people who follow you, people you follow, everyone or nobody at all. New accounts start on friends only, which means people you follow who follow you back. If it is one person you want to stop rather than a whole group, block them instead. A block works both ways and it also hides their content from you everywhere on the site.

Gunterverse staff and the official account can send account notices and replies to reports even when your messages are turned off. Other members cannot bypass your message settings.

Report it and do not reply to it. Gunterverse staff will never ask you for your password, a login code or anything else private and we will never ask you to sign in anywhere except gunterverse.com. Any message that does is a scam, no matter how official it looks or whose name is on it.

Open it and press Report. That shows our moderators that one message so they can deal with it, and nothing else in your inbox goes with it. They can take the message down and suspend the account that sent it.

Any link that is not going to gunterverse.com or roblox.com warns you first and tells you where it is about to send you. Gunterverse does not control those websites. Never type your Roblox password or a login code into a site you got to from a message.

It means the message really is from the Gunterverse team or the official Gunterverse account, which also has a tick next to its name. Nobody else can put that label on a message and no normal member can send from that account. If a message says it is from staff and has no label, it is not.

No. Deleting a message hides your copy; the other person keeps theirs. Deleting your account removes your messages from both sides.

Only you and the person on the other end, and a moderator if somebody reports a message. They are not public, they are not in the API, search engines never see them and we do not share them with anyone. Notifications never include what a message says either, so nothing shows up on your lock screen. The Privacy Policy has the full detail if you want it.

The sender can turn replies off, for example on a site announcement. Messages from the official Gunterverse account do not accept replies. To contact the team, use Report an issue at the bottom of any page.

Without Supporter you can hold ten messages at a time. Once you are at ten, anybody trying to write to you is told your inbox is full and their message does not arrive. Delete a few from your inbox and people can write to you again. Supporters have no limit at all.

Messages from the Gunterverse team always get through. If your inbox is full when one arrives, your oldest message is cleared to make room, because a warning about your account is not something that should bounce.

Paste it and it becomes a link on its own. If you would rather it read as words, write [the words](https://the-link.com) and it turns into the words, clickable. Only http and https links work, and anything not going to gunterverse.com or roblox.com still warns the person before it opens.

It holds announcements the Gunterverse team sends to everybody. They sit in their own tab so a notice that went out to the whole site does not bury a message somebody wrote to you.

Other people on Gunterverse buy them. Every banner points at a public page that lives here, and a moderator checks each one before it goes up. We do not sell space to outside advertisers and nothing here follows you around other websites. There is more about why you see them if you want it.

Supporters do not see banners anywhere on the site while their plan is active. There is no separate thing to buy just to remove ads.

Go to Advertise, pick the page you want the banner to link to, upload your artwork and choose how long it should run. It costs the same as a sponsorship of the same length and you pay in Robux.

It has to be exactly 160 by 600 pixels, saved as a PNG, JPG or WebP under 3MB. Still images only, so no animation. If it is the wrong size we turn it away as soon as you upload it, before you are asked to pay anything, so a banner that will not run can never cost you Robux.

It can point at any public event, badger, puzzle, user profile, badge or item page on Gunterverse. It does not have to be one you made. Banners cannot link outside Gunterverse.

It follows the same content rules as everything else here. On top of that, a banner must not pretend to be part of the site itself or copy the look of a system message, an error or a button. It must not lie about where it goes, and it must not show adult, violent or hateful content. It also cannot carry a link, a QR code or a handle pointing anywhere off the site. If you advertise somebody else's page, your banner must not claim to be from them or make it look like they backed it. A moderator can turn a banner down before it runs or pull it once it has started.

No. We do not refund banners, and that includes ones that never get approved and ones pulled halfway through. The time you buy also starts when you pay rather than when it gets approved, so a banner waiting to be checked is using up its own run. We say all of this on the purchase page and in the refund policy before you buy.

The two slots are filled at random from every banner running at the time, but longer bookings come up more. A seven day banner gets picked seven times as often as a one day one. The booking length determines how often a banner is selected.

Yes. Advertise shows every banner you have bought along with its views, its clicks and how often people click it, and the numbers update while it runs. It also shows banners other people bought that point at a page you run, so you can see what is heading your way.

There is a report button in the corner of every banner and another one underneath it. Reports go straight to the moderators and they can pull a banner whenever they need to.

It is one of three things. Either you are a Supporter, your window is too narrow or nobody has a banner running right now. The rails need a fairly wide screen because they sit beside the page rather than on top of it.

Open Settings and go to Appearance. You can pick Dark, Light or AMOLED. Supporters can also choose full-site color themes, including Classic.

Press the flag icon on the thing itself, pick a reason and add anything else we should know. It goes to our moderators. Misusing reports can lead to account restrictions.

Use Report an issue at the bottom of the page and tell us what happened. Say which page you were on and what you expected to see, because that helps us find it much faster.

We only use the Roblox data you gave us permission for, and we use it to build your profile and run the features. If you want the full picture, read our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Emoji are drawn as pictures so they look the same on every device, rather than letting each phone and computer draw its own version. The artwork is Twemoji and it is used under the CC-BY 4.0 licence.
