The World Cup Watchparty Jam 2026

A game jam competition hosted as a joint collaboration between the Spanish and Portuguese communities on Roblox's DevForums in celebration of the World Cup. Participants were given from June 12 to June 21 to create an experience with a team of up to four people. Participants were encouraged to make their experience vibrant and festive, with creators and sports fans coming together, much like a real-life watch party. Valid experiences submitted were judged upon three categories to win. These categories were artistic quality, 'living world' atmosphere, and cultural representation. In addition to the regular DevRel Prize Series 2, an additional item, 'Global Football', was created exclusively for this event. The developers of the three winning experiences and the developers of six 'Honorable Mentions' experiences earned the Global Football, a total of 26 users.
