Was a pretty fun game ngl; It was super refreshing paying for a Roblox game and not being hit with any microtransactions (besides paying for the eggs!)
The only real complaint is that I wish the dialog/cutscenes was more expressive - Having people talk differently in different paces (ex. Someone talking slowly when they're nervous) would've went a long way! Having the main characters have different dialogue voices wouldve been nice too. Instead, everyone talked the same, which didn't fully immerse me. Another thing I wish was in the game was more music shifts in the dialog - the only real ones were when you encountered those two people blocking the train tracks with the car. Wouldve been nice if when there was a heated argument, there was intense music, or if something awkward happened, there was derpy music. Instead, i just heard the same ambience music over and over again while talking to people, especially in main dialog cutscenes. Also, a lot of the worlds towards the end lacked background SFX. For example, there's no sound when the machinery rotates in the desert stage; I wasn't fully immersed in this EH universe bc of this which sucks
However, for Roblox, the gameplay is so refreshing and fun. I loved how there's a lot of borrowed mechanics from different games, like Pip breaking rocks via singing like DK Bananza, or becoming a drill like Splatoon's squid mechanic. It added some unique puzzles you could basically only do in this game, and it was a very fun experience gameplay wise.
However, I ended up getting lost a lot - I couldn't even figure out how to exit the hub area or enter back to the train until I had people point it out to me! Also, sometimes Pip singing would mark the wrong (!), causing me to go to the wrong building. It's also pretty easy to get lost, ESPECIALLY on the city level, that was so bad; every building on that level looked the same, and i kept on getting confused
Overall though, it is a fun experience. I think $30 is a fair price.
